BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE MARITIME UNIVERSITY OF SZCZECIN

RECTOR’S SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE BEST STUDENTS - PLN 100-900/month
-awarded to the best students in terms of academic performance who have scientific or artistic achievements or exceptional sport results in international or national competitions. The Rector's scholarships for the best students are also awarded to part-time students.

BURSARIES - PLN 30-780 / month
-awarded to students in a difficult financial situation. The basis for awarding the bursary is the amount of monthly net income per person in the family - currently it must not be higher than PLN 780 net. The average amount of the bursary is about PLN 400.

HOUSING ALLOWANCE
Full-time students in a difficult financial situation who are eligible to receive financial support may receive a bursary increased by PLN 200 for living in a dormitory or any place other than the dormitory if daily commuting from the place of permanent residence to the University would significantly hinder their studying.

VESSEL OPERATORS' SCHOLARSHIPS - up to PLN 900/month
-financed by future employers cooperating with the University. Students receive non-returnable financial support and a guarantee of employment after they complete their education. This form of support does not depend on other scholarships. The scholarship is offered in selected fields and years of study.

EMERGENCY ALLOWANCE - up to PLN 1000 awarded on a single occasion -awarded to students eligible to receive financial support who are in a temporary difficult financial situation due to any ill-fated reasons. Such events include death of a family member, birth of a child, illness, accident, etc. The grants are awarded independently of other scholarships/bursaries. A student may receive the allowance only twice per academic year.

Konstanty Kalinowski Scholarship programme

WHO: : The Scholarship Programme of the Government of the Republic of Poland under the Patronage of the President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland
WHAT: Exemption from tuition fees. A scholarship covering accommodation and maintenance cost - PLN 1240 monthly
WHO FOR: For students from Belarus who are not able to study in their country due to their political views.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 2016

Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme

WHO: : Polish Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Science and Higher Education
WHAT: Exemption from tuition fees. A scholarship covering accommodation and maintenance costs
WHO FOR: Citizens of the Eastern Partnership member states (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldavia and Ukraine), who want to continue their education in the 2nd cycle of studies in Poland.
